Lessons from the Soul - #406 - The Application Of Consciousness

Greetings from the Hill of Light,

You may wonder why these introductory notes to the weekly Lessons from
the Soul begin with a greeting from the 'Hill of Light'. For those of
you who have been receiving the Lessons for the past several years you
may recall that from 1996 to 2005 we lived in the mountains at a high
elevation 14 miles east of Taos, New Mexico. From the second floor of
our home as I was preparing the weekly emailing of the Lessons, I
looked out the window in front of my desk at a view that was quite
remarkable. There were mountains to the east, a beautiful meadow just
beyond the edge of the forest that surrounded the ridge we lived on,
and a view of the beautiful azure blue New Mexico sky that stirred up
inner feelings of experiencing infinity.

The feeling was truly on of being embraced in the Love and Light of
creation, experiencing the magic of creation as the Lessons were being
prepared to send out. It was from this weekly moment of expansive
feeling and understanding that the notion of being on the 'Hill of
Light' was generated. Since moving off the mountain into the village
of Taos, we have kept the same greeting as it depicts the reference
point that not only was the beginning of connecting with like-minded
souls through the expanding magic of the internet, but also is a
reference to the inner perspective from which the Lessons are offered.
The Lessons come through in meditation from, we have been told, the
Higher Self.

The Hill of Light welcomes each of us as we expand in conscious
awareness of 'who' and 'why' we are as embodied souls. Thank you for

THE APPLICATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS

We come together once again in the blending of consciousness merging
that which comes from within from the very Source of all with that
which is the applied consciousness that moves in and through the
consciousness of the soul. It is interesting to look at the patterns
of applied consciousness for there are so many variables. There are
so many points of variance that come from the various implications or
impressions that the soul has within the context of its created
environment.

The application of consciousness is rather broad and inclusive of all
that you see and all that you experience. The pure flow of
consciousness has a unified presence, a unified statement of
existence. It has only the flow of Love and Light, for that is the
source and that is the beginning point of all manifestation.

So it is within your universe and within all universes, so it is
within all embodied souls. There is the one Source of Love and Light
energy moving out into the manifested realm. Then there is the
interpretation and the modification and the application of what the
resultant perception is of that flow of Love and Light energy. There
is then the infinite statement of creation that you see around you.

When you look into the evening sky, you see the stars that are rather
magnificent. But when you consider the enormity of the universe you
are in, you realize there is much beyond that which is of immediate
focus and application of consciousness of most souls. There is within
the context of all that you see and all that you do, the enormity of
the possibility of the infinite statement of creation that surrounds
you and is within you.

It is important to come to an understanding of this infinite presence
for that is what establishes the reference point to all that you
think, say, and do. For when you are referring to the more temporal
(from the implication of that word, the temporary aspects of your
creation) you are very limited in your perception and understandings
of that which is truly the entirety of the creative experience. But
when you focus on and have a sense of the flow of the infinite
statement of the creative impulse, then you begin to put into
perspective all that you apply each moment of your existence.

It is so easy from the perspective of an embodied soul to become
attached to the world in which you live, to the thoughts that you
generate, to the emotions that are stimulated. It is so easy to
become attached to these things, but as you let go and as you release
that attachment, you see that there is a much greater, in fact an
infinite flow of creative energy that has always been and will always
be. There is no limit to the possibilities of creation.

You see, it is all a matter of consciousness. It is a matter of what
you are giving attention to. As you focus on that which is the
infinite statement of the presence of the Consciousness of Creation,
you open up the doorway to seeing with a true perspective the
relationships within the environment where you now find yourself.

When you say, I AM the Love, Light, and Life of creation, you are
saying I am an infinite statement of the presence of the creative
impulse in all that I AM, which then implies in all that you think, in
all that you say, and all that you do. So rest in the embrace of the
infinite statement of who you are and walk the pathway of
enlightenment within the world that you find yourself at this moment.

This is the pathway of awakening that you have chosen, that all souls
have chosen, the pathway of working together to awaken the entire
planet on which you live and exist at this moment. Allow the
awakening to take place first within you and then within others.

You are I AM, the Love, Light, and Life of creation.
